T. John college of Pharmacy arranged a guest lecture on 14th Nov 09’ at 10.30am as a part of Academic-Industrial interaction. Staff and students found the guest lecture informative and showed active participation throughout the lecture session.

Mr. Shyam, Sr. Manager, Strides Arcolab Limited, Bangalore delivered a guest lecture on the “Quality Assurance Concept in Pharma Industry”. He explained the concept of Quality Assurance in Pharmaceuticals, Responsibilities of QA, Activities of QA and the role of Governing Regulatory Bodies like FDA, WHO, MHRA, TGA and MCC in the quality assurance of pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Ravikumar, Head, HR Division, Strides Arcolab Limited, Bangalore delivered a seminar on ‘How to face the Interviews in Pharma Industry’. He spoke on the essential skills which are required for obtaining a job in the pharma industry and the vast opportunities open to pharmacy graduates.

Ms. Latha Harish, Sr. Manager, Technical Services, Strides Arcolab Limited, clarified various doubts of the students and provided valuable insight to Quality Assurance in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
