VST company started 16 years before. It mainly manufactures engineering products, such as Tractors spare parts, connectors and motors etc

It has a parent company in Bangalore, they also manufacture two wheeler engines, 18 HP (Horse power) power operated tractors. They procure the raw materials from Belgaum.

The customers of VST are from UK, DEUTZ in Germany. Net profit per month is 3.5 crores.

Fifty five students of MBA II sem, along with four faculties Mr. Kali Charan, Mr. Mithileshwar Prasad, Prinangana Goswamy and Anand Ganiger visited this Manufacturing unit on April 11, 2011 and observed various process and observed various process in production viz job, production, mass production.
