T. John College and T. John Institute of Management and Science celebrated 65th year of Indian Independence at the TJC lawns. The programme started with the unfurling of the Tricolour by the Campus Director Of T. John Group of Institutes. Students of TIMS and TJC had organized a colourful cultural programme which reinstated the feeling of PATRIOTISM in all. The final 3 rounds of Inter Department "India Quiz" were held during the August 15 celebrations, in which BBM was declared the winner; with BCA being the runners up. Inmates of Asha Jeevan Old Age Home were invited to celebrate Independence day with the students on campus. The veterans were greeted with ‘fruit baskets’, and Bedspreads were gifted to the Old Age Home by the TJC faculties. Kids of TJC Staff and Faculties participated in an art competition. The programme concluded with a promise from students to take such activities forward. "Jai Hind"
